CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – 26 August 2016, the Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch 10 (RCMB X) in cooperation with the Labor Management Cooperation Practitioners – Northern Mindanao, Inc. (LMCP) conducted a Learning Session on “Social Security System (SSS) and Employee Compensation Commission (ECC) Trends and Updates cum LMC Convergence Practices  held at Emerald Ballroom 1, Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Limketkai, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro  City participated by  Two Hundred Fifteen (215) delegates from the different companies in Region 10.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — On September 6, 2016, Marlon H. Leopoldo and Benjamin V. Vanzuela both Security Guards of Commander Security Training Center, Inc. Cubao, Quezon City sought the assistance through the Single Entry Approach (SENA) of NCMB against their employer on the ground of money claims particularly the refund of cash bond and a separation pay.

Leopoldo and Vanzuela are apprehensive on their cash bond considering that their -employer is in Quezon City in which its employment contract ended in January 2016.

Aras along with others who were utility workers of Global Skills Providers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, a utility manpower services provider located at 8-17th Street Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City, requested for assistance through the Single Entry Approach (SENA) against the latter on the ground of unpaid 13th month pay, service incentive leave, separation pay, coop savings and unpaid salary.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – On September 16, 2016, Mr. Kim T. Cheung, a worker of a manpower company named CSR Agency located at Pacana Street, Cagayan de Oro City assigned as a driver of Seaquest Logistics, Inc., requested for an assistance through the Single Entry Approach (SENA) against the latter on the ground of non-payment of wage which was placed on hold due to damage of the delivered refrigerator.

During the conciliation conference, it was then found out that the refrigerator is already defective and the said complainant is not liable with its damage.
